Just some images showing the new lighting system and moons for my LOTW
project. I'm still working on new vegetation and a new set of cloud
macros. Will post updates osurce code when they're finished.

I love the two moons in the sky !!!! They remind me Frank Herbert's
"Dune" Arrakis moons, Krell & Arvon !!!

Thanks,
the system will create 5 different types of moon, rocky, volcanic, barren,
gas giant and earth like.

The terrain structure is now very good: it creates some very
interesting places, like the circus-like formation on the left of the
first image. The vegetation seems nicely placed, only a bit dark.
The lighting looks also beautiful, although there is little contrast
on the shadowed parts.

I'm trying to fudge sky light using an radial grid of spotlights so I can
use SMYPOV for the high res renders. They currently are a mix of shadow
and shadowless overlapping spots arranged in a semi Fibonaaci sequence
over the top of the atmosphere. At the moment all the spots have the same
light colour and intensity. I'm still experimenting in getting the right
contrast level in the shadow areas without extending the render times too
much.

Very very nice, except that the trees are still extremely dark. The
trees in full light are darker than the ground is in full shadow...
