This is what I've done so far. I'm still going to put the logo at the top.
This is my first try at modeling in Wings3d.

Well, you have certainly done a good job on this. Nice modelling of the
musical space ships/station :-) The nova burst looks good although too blue
for my taste. One can consider it an artistic liberty but I suppose it
should be much more towards white light with only a hint of blue.

Fits The Nova Echo's logo well though.

I suppose it is a white dwarf and not a blue dwarf ;oD
I'll whiten it up a bit.
Maybe I should look for that lens flare include...
