Sorry about that, my newsreader seems to have split up the image over
several different threads, so now you can't view it.  I'll try it
again, hopefully it works now.

Yes! I don't think I've ever seen anyone model in POV-Ray the chess pieces
as I've always seen them, until now. I like =)

and I'll want to get my hands on those pieces eventually =)

aside from the pieces, I'm not crazy about the lines between the squares
(the fact that they pop up out of the board). Once you get a good
background, make sure to use radiosity to get the unlit parts of the pieces
shown.
