This is sort of an alpha-test version fo this ship. It's only about 50%
complete... all sorts of textures to improve on and greeblies to add...
but it's been months since I actually made any changes to it and other
projects have come up, so I thought I better go ahead and post it, or it
wouldn't ever be seen.
It's not really ready for prime time, but it would work in the
background of another image.
Of course, since I seem to be somewhat rare in using POV to do Star Trek
subjects, that may be silly, too.
Source code will be posted to p.b.source-files soon.

If you're using Outlook Express, you've got to
highlight all four posts (1/4), (2/4), ... and click
on something like "Stitch together and decode",
I've only got the German version which says
"Zusammenfassen und Decodieren".
Other newsreader might handle this by themselves
or have a different routine for "compiling" a mutli-post.

Looks good so far, but you really need to work on the textures - I would
look into image maps & UV for this one.
btw, more people will look at and comment on your posts if you make the file
size a litle smaller - try using jpg's for wip images - and turn off
multipart postings!

Beautiful design! Impressive use of POV primitives. Perhaps THIS should have
been the Enterprise NX-01 (NOT that I want to join the choir of fans who
complain about ST: Enterprise) but the design looks a bit older, and
therefore would fit the timeline perfectly. I really like it!
Star Trek is a passion of mine, and the only reason why I have a TV.. Nice
to see some good Trek pictures around here.
