A chance result while playing with photons, dispersion, and media. 
Originally rendered at 1600x1200, taking 102 hours, 14 minutes, and 19 
seconds. (Note that this was at low priority, with my computer recording 
several TV shows during this period, so it probably took a couple hours 
longer than it normally would.)

I thought the preview looked good, so I started a large render over the 
break. Still some tweaking to be done, there are artifacts on the left 
and right sides...the rendering speed's terrible, but I don't think 
there's a whole lot to be done about that.

Hey! That looks to me not like a right, but a spacecraft or aircraft
(hypersonic bomber?) going Mach 8 and dragging a shockwave along behind it.
