Sorry it's late. It was ready yesterday, I just didn't get a chance to
post it.
Anyone fed up with these yet? (And other comments welcome.)

No.
Somehow looks real like I could reach out and touch it. I can't
see steriograms but I'm sure a steriogram of this would be quite
stunning.

I also can't see steriograms. (Lack of processing power behind the
left eye :-) so I won't be rendering this in anything else but plain
old single image. If someone wants this as a stereogram (and knows how
to render them) let me know and I will send whoever the source to play
with.

What impresses me is that you get one of these out every week. I think if
I worked on getting something to a presentable stage once a week the
quality of my work would go up (after all, that's really the only place
it can go!).

The problem is, I've got to the point where I have to do one of these
every week (not a problem in its self). But it's meant to be done in
any slack time on a Friday (coding, not rendering, render is done low
priority in the background).
Some weeks I can do it, some I can't.
Then I look at what I've produced and some of them (like this one)
scream "animate me!" And that takes up all my rendering time for the
week. I've not entered IRTC for months and I'm not working on any of
the other projects I want to start/finish.
Maybe I should contact Abstracts Anonymous :-)

Don't stop now!!! You've got me looking forward to Fridays.
I'd like to try a stereogram ... slow 'puter but something that
would be fun to play with.

Oh, come on Justin, this one is just crying out to be made into a short
looping animation, with those glow clusters swarming about inside like alien
insects.

How about an animated steriogram ?
Is that possible?
