Here's two isosurface landscapes that suddenly
appeared while playing around with my last scene.

1. put othogonal camera in front of surface of isosurface.
2. apply gradient texture with rgb 0 for deeper area of isosurface and rgb 1
for areas nearest camera
3. render to image
4. create hf from this image

Nice, the two images seem to have the same base pattern. A little more
detail in the geometry would be good of course.

Point light and a shadowless fill light, right?

Don't forget 'hf_gray_16' in global settings :)

Yes, you are right Christoph: The first image uses 2 patterns
that are also used in the second image. The second has an
additional pattern and uses some other mathematical operators.

I agree. I'll see if I can render some more detailed ones
next week.

Yep - But I forgot to make the blueish light shadowless.

(The sphere casts a shadow below itself )=

Thank you very much !

Yes.

Hopefully ABX and Samuel has explained enough about how
to do this. If not, you are welcome to ask more David.
