I like the detail added to the close ship in the first pic.

The center ship in the second pic looks really cool from the front, but the
side structure is a little gimmicky.

Both of these are nice shots with good lighting and an excellent wormhole
effect. I think that a very dim fill light might improve the look of the
first shot a bit.
