Here is a little visual improvement on Jr's bounding box calculator
(bounder.inc) as discussed in p.t.scene-files.

Red, is the traditional min-extent and max_extent of the object; yellow,
is the optimised bounding box. The object is a merge{} of several CSG
cylinders.

The application works without problems.

a striking illustration. thank you, Thomas. given that the shape which got me
started (the Boys' Surface) also is CSG, it looks like those could be a "use
case".
