almost exactly 4 years ago I did post an image of my CSG Police Box.
Here is another version of the box, rendered with UberPOV and Gilles'
Mini parked in the background. Render time was close to an eternity but
time doesn't matter when you have a TARDIS at your disposal!

Everything from the vegetation on the elevated road to the expression on the
face of that young woman looks incredibly good. Great detail.
I was a Doctor Who watcher a long time during the 1990's when replays of older
shows with Tom Baker (#4) were on PBS, no one else seemed better and eventually
I quit watching.

*Very* good indeed. Almost (not quite) photographic :-)
I can imagine the render time...

Brilliant!
It's a pity it doesn't fit onto my desktop though. Would you mind redoing it at
1920 x 1080? You might need to use the TARDIS to do that though...

The overhead bridge and the old van immediately caught my eye: both stunning,
along with their textures and lighting. A REALLY nice image. I didn't notice the
pretty girl 'til afterwards; I guess my POV-Ray priorities are rather skewed...

Actually a render at 16:9 resolution is running at the moment - but it's
a nighttime version and I have no idea how it will turn out.

Tom Baker is also my favorite of the original series, but I also enjoyed
the reboot with Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.

I know, I know. At some point I always lack the patience to get it all
right and just want to be done with it. What worries me is that this
becomes even worse while getting older... ;)

I doubt that!

...and I did spend more time trying to get her pose and expression right
(I'm not very good at this, TdG does this much better) than with
anything else ;)
