The figure looks to me like an Art Deco figurine who is holding up a
beach ball and is inverted.
The shape of the segments that make a soccer ball have changed over
time. I remember them being T shaped.
The rest is too cryptic. Moderation, a reference to the troubles at the
big footy match?
Do we have a balancing metaphor here?

Yes, Makehuman via stl.
It started as an illustration for lemon used to make barrel, then bad
events were reported.
