In a cave I'm expecting mushrooms with very long stalks and a pale dull
color (or - in case - fluorescent). Or this is an outdoor cave?
Always better!

I don't really know, as I have not been there, but judging by the
lighting, I would say this is very close to the cave entrance. :)

Anyhow, I'm already working on modeling mushrooms like the ones you
described (Psilicybe semperviva). ;)

   Thanks!

I think it's one of those underground caves with full natural lighting,
starring either Will Ferrell and/or Simon Pegg.

This is gorgeous!
Hmmmm, I think, the moss should not be too smooth.

Amazing to watch!

Reminds me, that we could need some sort of mushroom-making macro:
defining stem thickness and straightness and length, and if poors or
gills, with or without stem ring, hat flatness and diameter and such
things. :-D

Ok, here is the last one, using more credible mushrooms... should be
the final one, not because I'm totally satisfied, but because I've moved
onto other things.

I just think, the moss (IF that is moss) is too olive green to be real.
Should be a little bit plainer, that green. Want to see plenty tiny
leaves, too. I love that scene.

Oh, hey, and what about some greenish fluorescent mushrooms having a
little glow around them? :-D

And maybe some tiny pits of water in between the rocks, there where they
are a bit deeper.

Background mist..? :-D

AMAZING image! I like your idea!

I think the shrooms still deserve a bit of subsurface scattering. They
look to artificial as they are.
