Ok, it's not crystals, and it's not even an image, but Jacqu^H^H^Hime's

1m6s, 6 generations, I haven't started the top yet, but I *have* thought
of growing a mushroom cloud.
[Best option is to play it locally so you get the chapter marks and titles.]
With one of the early renders, I reversed x and z and the effect was
cool in a random non-random way. After I deleted the frames I thought I
should have saved it. So I wrote a little script to append the current
generation to the end of the test render. It's probably something only
a mother could love, but there it is. :)

I've always liked seeing objects dynamically built from other smaller objects.

The stills are pretty boring. The trick/art is in the animating.
