Indeed, and the problem with abandoning a project for a couple of years 
is that you have to start again from scratch in some cases. I have to 
rediscover where I left off and what problems were left unsolved, and - 
in some cases - update to latest POV-Ray version goodies.

Or perhaps, in this alternate history, Gancaloon has established trade with
South America, where rubber has long been known.
