Sadly not had much time for Pov-Ray for a while, but played this weekend.

Inspiration from my friend Julie's recent dandelion photos plus And's
recent polynomial based "polygon to circle loft" work. Dandelion head is
the difference of two 6th order polynomials, copied, variously rotated
and their union cut to the shell of a sphere.

Smart. Impressive. It would also be an intriguing sculpture in RL. Well
done indeed.

Thank you Thomas.

I've been following the development of your "Not Islay" image with
interest. The last image post with the buildings is looking great.

Here's a version with radiosity. It really brings out the depth.

I used SphereSweep from the Object Collection because the native
sphere_sweep was taking too long with radiosity. If it's OK with
LanuHum, I'll post the source code.
