Yes, then pose him in a The Thinker pose with a dog-tag around his neck  
with "Sphere" written on it.

Then you have a "reflecting" Sphere.

obscured by a wing or the figure or something.

The 'plane could also be a paper 'plane constructed solely from the CSG of  
planes.
