The gap /is/ there, as the tiles do not reach the border and are
bevelled there. So, it all is an illusion :-)

While Stephen and Christoph are fighting their way through the galaxy, I
have been quietly busy honing my scene.
A larger render this time the better to spot weak points.

No. I've taken a leaf out of the Dutch book and am trading my way to
world domination. ;-)

I never been able to create a believable tiled floor with normals.

The various tiling patterns really help with this.

Good.
We have the experience and only need willing subjects to spread the
peace. We have the vision of the great queen overseas. Or interstellar
voids, to be more accurate.
The stars are calling.

It is a real reassurance to know that some people just know what is good
for me. I can now look up at the stars at night and contemplate without
fear the vast expanses of the galaxy knowing that the benign hand of our
all encompassing sovereign is extended over my head.

I am afraid that calling in the airless void will not really be heard ;-)
