just another follow up ...
it's pretty clear that all the tags are being found just fine but the
part between the tag boundaries isn't being parsed correctly. i only had
to look up a couple of the examples from the screen shots to get a
fairly clear picture of what's going on here ... i think rather than
trying to pick things up using regex pattern matching, a character by
character method is going to give me more flexibility. the comma and
vertical bar are indexentry tag delimiters ... yikes there are even a
couple of examples of tags inside of tags. if i can't manage to parse
those correctly i may end up changing the markup.
