Remember these? They came with POV-Ray 2.2 (granite.inc) and were made
by Daniel Mecklenburg Jr. While reviewing my textures collection I
needed to discover again their origin. Happily, google is your friend!

I can't figure out where you found them... the first thing I saw when I
googled for "POV-Ray 2.2" was some German money-maker selling a CD with
POV-Ray 2.2 for a cool 35.28 euros!!! 35.28... what a strange price,
obviously computer-calculated! O tempora, o mores... it cannot be very
long anymore until someone claims ownership of the air we breathe!

Yuck!!!

See you in Khyberspace!

I saw everything here:
http://www.filewatcher.com/b/ftp/ftp.ccs.carleton.ca/pub/pov-ray-0.html
There is no granite.inc.
Anywhere.

As said, I have them at least since the late nineties. Google found me
this ancient site:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.graphics.rendering.raytracing/OH1eY_l2WxI

the oldest where the code is given.
