Mixing the background of cgsphere with tinachep's theme: star (single)

Kepler-Poinsot: small stellated dodecahedron.
(in French: petit dodécaèdre étoilé)

I kept inside the icosahedron delimited by the planes, and the IOR is
limited so far to 1.1 to have a tainted shadow (higher value gives a
blacker shadow).

The theme limits to one star, but should I add an icosahedron and a
dodecahedron on the sides ?
Other suggestions are welcome too.

The theme is there to stimulate your imagination. And I like what it has
done so far. :-)
Why not add the 'ahedrons and see what it looks like?

Facets and more facets. ;-)

Is that your face I see in the centre of the star? ;-)

Star it is, but it may be one amongst many for instance. Feel free to
experiment within and without the boundaries of the challenge.

More facets, indeed... at +Q3 it is fast.

I was to use glass, but I wonder if metal would not be as lovely... well
more renders to perform, I guess.

You call that More? ;-)

Interesting shape, though.

I really like this.

I'm a fan of patterns and shadows and so vote for a few more lights
perhaps with the shadows crawling up the background behind the object.
