Hello fellow POV'ers!

I haven't been tracing for a while nor even reading the news. But I'm
back and while it's still financially unrealistic, I'm having good time
planning a new house. A one with really thick massive wooden walls built
with ancient tradition, which looks good, is very healthy to live in and
has especially good acoustic parameters. In Finnish it's called
"hirsitalo", I think the English word would be house by logs (it's built
by piling logs in certain way). For now I've been keeping the walls
pretty low to get on with fitting/thinking the floors, smaller walls
etc, but they'll rise in time, when I get further.

bedrooms to bathroom, and having the living room in between.
I presume top row second room from left is the sauna? ;)

Perhaps "log cabin" is what you mean here. Which, incidentally, conjures all
the wrong mental images in Americans, at least. A "log cabin" is generally
assumed here to be a very primitive and rural structure probably lacking
electricity and indoor plumbing, for example.

Your house already looks much better. :-)
