Ok so ignore the blue table (typo) I just wanted to show something that
was turning out pretty cool. This is the mandel goodie that I've been
messing around with ... also there is NO light source in this scene.
Thanks to Trevor for getting me going with hdr as light maps. This one
uses Edouards light probe ... cool eh! I'm going to keep working at this
one ... a lot of exciting times for povray lately!

Beautiful indeed!!

I admire how you properly glued all those tiny blobs of (fools?) gold on the
object :-)

I used a flat slab to develop the texture map before applying it to the
isosurface ... I'm working on a dual monitor background image. Keeping
the gold tips the base material will have a r,g,b versions of the object
... close up with the proper material it looks like coral (hmmm ... an
under water scene?)

Thomas is right. The texture lifts it from very good to excellent.

I was joking of course, but it is true that your careful texture is
excellent indeed.
