In between projects, I like to play around with the apps and macros I have
collected over the years, and have mostly forgotten about. This time, I
rediscovered that nice little app PlanetGenesis
http://planetgenesis.sourceforge.net/ which I had not really put to the
test before.
I then terraformed one of the created planets, added an atmosphere
hours work.

I had been thinking along these lines...
For clouds I used an image of the Earth's cloudscape. Looks more natural,
but... not entirely satisfying .
The spaceship is a mesh I have been building on and off in Silo2 over the
last several years.
