Time to show a wip of one of my latest projects. I am currently working on
the Greek hoplite. Greaves, shield and spear are finished; helmet is in
almost finished state; tunic has yet to be modelled. This image uses Sam
Benge's textured fog macro. The landscape is not yet finished either.

Already convincing, when the figure is some distance away.
It seems to coming in a good way.

Very nice! Close-up shots of the items would be cool to see as well when they're
ready!

Thank you both, Stephen and Christoph. That is why I showed this wip :-)
Still, there are little details to take care about, apart from the hoplite's
outfit of course. However, overall, the scene will not change much.

Indeed. However, the figure will be also good-looking from closer up.
Although that might be a dangerous move to make :-)

Thank you, Dave. I shall show details at a later stage.

I like it. Very minimalist. :)

State-of-the-art. Rendered in my own POV-Ray Poser figures testing room
(beta 40).
