Once every so many years, I intend to learn Chinese, and each time the
project petters slowly out.
In 2003, I built this landscape, to which I added the ideograms and seal
with a paint program. I don't remember if I ever showed it here.
Now, I revisited the scene, upgraded the code to 3.7 beta 38, and added the
ideograms and seal with screen,inc.
Finally, also with screen.inc, I gave the image the aspect of old paper.
I like it :-)

So do I and I think that I have seen it before but I might be confusing
it with one of several I've seen in RL. Yours is very convincing.
BTW Why sign it on the bottom when you have applied your chop? ;-)

Wow, thanks! That an honour, to be compared to Roger Dean whose sleeves I
admire.

A larger version here.
Some technical details:
- height_field made with Leveller
- water texture by Gilles Tran
- island, boat, and figure are meshes, originally modelled with Hamapatch
- trees through macros by Tom Aust and Paul T. Dawson

Forgot to tell that the mist is just a ground fog. The trick here is that it
is inclined towards the camera, in such a way that it plunges into the lake
a little behind the island.
