That's one of the coolest pictures I've seen! Great job on the lighting and
highlights, and the object itself is fascintating. The orange color is perfect.

Only problem I think is there seem to be highlights
in areas which appear to be empty spaces (near the
rim of the actual face hole)

Yes it is the HDR. I think to understand what you say.. do you like
