The next moon... don't wonder about the reddish color, according to 
Voyager images, Janus is in fact slightly red! I used CHSL2RGB() to 
roughly match the albedo value given in the Wikipedia article...

But I still ask myself how to get rid of that ugly meridional seam seen 
along the terminator... a problem I already encountered back in 1998 
when I tried Polyray and its s_height_field feature!

This is totally awesome.  About 10 years ago, I used POV-Ray and image 
maps from NASA to make 3D images of all the planets and several moons. 
(The image map of Pluto was an artist's rendition, but the others were 
based on actual photos).

Then I printed these on sticker stock and used them to decorate my 
oldest son's room.  And they're still up there!

I'm curious about the color though.  I have a hard time believing 
anything is _that_ red.  The colors we usually see in photos of the 
planets are greatly enhanced (if not false color)... they are usually 
quite pale, even Jupiter and Saturn.
