Using just the ini you provided, with no AA, I got the following images. 
Attaching both the 3.6 and 3.7 versions.

colors, brightness, contrast look the same ..... the photons effect is more 
pronounced in the bottom image (3.7?)

I got the same image, save for the AA, that you did from 3.7.

Bottom image? Your newsreader is embedding them in the post, I don't 
know which it chose to put first, I just attached them as grenadine36 
and grenadine37.png.
