I see you base (all?) your textures on different cells uses. I confess that

A crackle with the solid option would provide a similar effect, with 
less need for turbulence at the expense of slower rendering.

Right, the most textures I published here are based on cells, but
I of course I use other patterns too.


hint!
"slope" is a very interesting pattern for incredible many variations
of stone/sand/rock-textures.
