This was my first "serious" attempt at trying to create an image using POV-Ray.
I call it serious because it's the only one that I've bothered to work on till
it resembled what I originally thought of :) Anyway, thoughts and comments
would be appreciated.

the textures look a bit flat, but it gives it an interesting stylized look
overall.

I'd like to see those chains in a more interesting environment.

If you want the reflections to be better,
but the background to be white still, just
put a big inverted sphere with an image map
on it and put no_image on it.
