I originally wanted this to be a starting point for another round of
Pov-pong, but this image took just shy of an hour to render on my 2GHz
Athlon.
I swiped Sam's head and Aero's eyes from the last pong round.
Everything else is from my own twisted imagination. :-) Don't ask.
... Actually, this could have been the starting point for a really
bizarre TiNA CheP image ...

You know you've been raytracing too long when you find yourself
daydreaming for hours on end what it would be like to go back in time
and give Michealangelo a decent raytracer.

Well, if you care to share, we still can pong it :). It'll just take a
bit longer to render, but it's still pretty fast if we can keep it under
2 hours/render :).

Actually, it certainly has a checkered plane (or at least it looks like
it has one), I just can't see the _sphere_ anywhere :D. Or do I remember
TiNA CheP just wrong way?

The original post has a .zip with all the required files in it. If
you're patient enough, then by all means play with it. :-)

TiNA CheP for "This Is Not A CHEckered Plane"? I don't see the sphere
part in that. :-) Actually, I think the problem is that it *still has*
the checkered plane. Of course, if you want to do your own version of
the image, you can work on that. ;-)

You know you've been raytracing too long when you know how to render a
truly photorealistic compact disc, and you're not going to tell anyone
(least of all a POV user ;) ).

Argh, I should learn to check the attachments before posting (my
newsreader shows the images automatically) :p.

Exactly what I tried to say - the picture would fall nicely to "This is
not RSOCP" -category, but it definedly has the checkered plane.

You know you've been raytracing too long when you steal computers to
build render farms with.
