The head, body and feet are done with blobs, the hair, arms, legs and hands
with sphere-sweeps, the eyes are spheres and the clothes are bezier patches.
I plan to make it fully animatable.
Comments and help welcome.

Wow
Tried to make a character before, but I gave it up cuz it was too hard.
This dude looks really neat and has really got his own style! So good job!
Animated should be extremely interesting to see!
Keep it up. (Please!!!) ;)

Me like. It's always neat to see someone tackle making people in SDL.
BTW, his hair has little bit of the Dragonball look to it, but not quite.

Cute, although the proportions did remind me a bit of a sensory
homunculus (scaled by density of nerve endings). See, e.g.,

But your character looks more pleasing to the eye ;)

I like dragonball hair ;->
But I'm not happy with it, I may have to do it with bezier-patches.

I'm going for Asterix meets Kids Next Door meets DragonballZ.
