this was certainly a challenge .... the media aspects of this scene took up
most of my time. the cloud bank is an iso surface container filled with
emission media the ground fog is a flattened sphere filled with emission
media. it was by accident that I settled on this view .... wondered what it
have looked like from a frogs eye view.
Nice. Right now I've been standing a lot so my feet are sore. That looks
like a nice place to sit back and relax. It looks quite warm actually. Is
that a desert in the background or might trees be next?

I certainly like this view. One thing that strikes me immediately however,
is that the reeds need some randomness in height, scale, and angle. You can
also suggest some wind by favouring rotation towards one direction.

actually it's wetlands near the shore ..... was thinking a group of shore
birds might finish this scene out nicely

thanks .... hmmm i do have a "dither" routine on the reeds that varies the
size a tad (not much). the north side of my property has reeds in the river
bed and I certainly have sat for hours pondering cattails .... they seemed
almost unusually the same height, however now that you mention it I think I
will revisit that issue and perhaps add a bit of a tilt and rotation as well
to stir things up a bit .... thanks for the feedback
