Hi all,

I've written up a technique for generating buildings from floor plans drawn
in the Inkscape SVG editor. Inkscape lets you save in POV-Ray format,
generating POV-Ray prism objects. I've also done some macros to assemble the
building, including adding floors, ceilings, windows, doors and lights.

The writeup and the macros are at
http://www.geocities.com/povstairs/povhouse/index.htm.
As can be seen from the writeup, it can do quite complex stuff, but here's a
simple hall just to wet your appetite.

Regards,
Chris B.
