Here's my improbable space ship with obligatory armaments.
The Mini Guns aren't complete yet, but the barrels do rotate
and fire in sync with the rotation. This was all modeled by
hand (using just a text editor), as are all of the POVRay
renderings I do.

Somewhat reminiscent of the frog ships in Bucky O'Hare and the Toad
Wars, but those ships have maser cannons instead of miniguns. The colour
scheme on yours is much nicer, though.

I can imagine a very high turn rate on this thing! I can imagine it hiding
in canyons, popping out from behind a precipice striking a much larger craft
and dissapearing again before being seen. It's actually very sleek
considering it's round and martian-like proportions.

I love it! When I was a kid (a long time ago) I made drawings of the same
basic design. Your textures however, are much much better than my color
pencil ones... :-)

If you reverse one engine the craft will rotate on it's axis like a top
at an extremely high rate of speed. The downside of that is when firing
the guns you quickly find yourself in a cloud of brass.

The reason it's called the Cuttlefish is that it's hull is made of a
moulded LCD material which is computer controlled. This allows it's
color to change instantaineously, just like a real cuttlefish. Sampling
cameras on-board feed imagery of it's surroundings to the computer which
can be displayed on the hull, making the ship effectively invisible.
Well, that's what I imagine, anyway!
