I'll post the code for the Mech ( not the scene ) shortly in p.t.sf.
This scene took about 13 hours to render. The combination of area light and
radiosity is what took the time. Change area lights to point and the time
dropped to less than an hour. Drop radiosity as well and it dropped to a
couple of mins'.

Just a side note: The cannon on the Rifleman / Defender / Raidar X are
mounted top and bottom on the arm, not side by each. Sorry to nit-pick. :)

Easily fixed. Change the locations of 1 and -1 in the barrel section of the
include file from x to z.
