hola,

the shape is done and i'm REAL happy with how it turned out .... it's all 
primatives and csg with the exception of the thumbscrew threads (they're 
iso_surface) BTW: i've sure gotten alot out of mike williams' iso_surface 
tutorial (great job mike!) .... now i'll work on the textures (brass i 
imagine .... non magnetic as to not screw with the compass).

Nice!  Might be worth adding a few dents or bumps into the model if its a 
"used" object, as opposed to a "pristine museum" model.
