Seasonal salutations to you all.
Following on from my tentative trefoil knot last year, here is a more recent
and complete version. It still lacks people, and may well be altered
somewhat in the field of texturing, but it looks pretty damn dramatic I
reckon.
Who wants to guess how long it took to render?
Bill

I like it, but th elighting is almost too dramatic for me - Imy eyes have
trouble seeng what is happening. I would move the bricks just a titch
closer together (even if there is only the occasional suggestion of
mortar-lines, the mind will fill in the rest), and give a little fill
lighting so that the inside is not so completely black.
But it is a really interesting construct, and well carried out. Nice.

Wow! This and your tetrahedral planetoid posts indicate some fine abilities!
I hope you keep up with the surreal constructions.
This is looking very good, but to my eyes it is a little dark and hard to
make out. Of course this could just be monitor gamma differences. Maybe if
you lit it just a little brighter?
Are you going to have figures on both sides of the stairs, or just the...
umm.. "top"? :)

That is fantastic! You've got to put a person (at least) on those central
cross-over sections to finish it (or, just to see what it looks like
anyway).
Very nice work so far.

But isn't it 'up' and/or 'down' too Jim?
