I should have spent some more words.
- The lovers are two spheres actually whereas the reflective
   one is an isosurfaces sphere mapped around the red sphere.
- The ground is f_rounded_box used together with f_marble to
   repeat it endlessly. Using f_marble for repeating single objects
   endlessly seems to be very convenient. Especially because one can
   apply further transformations to the ground. Here's it's a
   y - cos(sqrt(x*x + z*z)) function which gives a nice radial wave.

The idea to call the spheres lovers came while searching for a name
for this image. I think it's fits quite well :-).
