I remade this with a toned down focal blur and added the little bubble 
after reading some of the composition tips on the pov wiki. I can't 
figure out at all where the squarish photon blocks in the center came 
from. The original is at 1280x1024 and makes a great wallpaper

I don't recall exactly. Maybe 4-6 hours on my Athlon 3200. Photons, 
reflection, focal blur and ior being the primary culprits.
