I've dreamt of making this scene years ago, but it was impossible at the
time (the pyramid holds a light, and the light reflects and refracts off
the spheres, causing them to glisten and shine)

Oh well done! I love the refractions - full of photons I assume? Rendertime?

Nicely done, BTW they remind me of some cool ball animations I've seen last

Very nice. This is pure POV to me. Is it possible to get a 1600X1200
version for my desktop? If not for me, for the others? ;)

photons { spacing 0.0065 }
Much smaller than that and it runs out of memory.
