Going back to my old projects. This is an intermediary take. I started
working on the surroundings. The new floor is nice (I think!) but with the
libraries (Gilles Tran's MakeLibrary), the rooms needs a wooden floor I
think, and wainscots.
Hesitating about a window (invisible, left) or artificial lighting (my
preference).
Need lots of scrolls too.

As always, comments very appreciated!
To PM 2Ring: I posted the missing and corrected files in p.b.s-f. (hope all
is complete!)

Maybe one of Kepler's own pentagonal tilings... would they look good as
parquetry?

I don't like the placement of the near bookcase, especially how it obscures
the portrait. How about moving the back wall back another two metres or so,
to create a corridor going off to our right? Then you could have the two
bookcases side by side, with one of them disappearing onto the corridor. I
think this would also look good with lighting from the left.

I think the room still works without fancy scrollwork.

Funny how perceptions can be different from person to person! My wife
preferred the portrait half hidden.
I have moved the far bookcase to the left now. However, I shall take your
suggestion and move the backwall back (maybe also the right wall). In any
case the camera view was too crowded as is. A corridor to the right... or
maybe to the back.... I shall experiment. I have also a portrait of Tycho
Brahe that I want to put somewhere...

Sure. Just a few rolled-up things on top of the bookcase (starts to look
like my study!  ;-) )

Hi Thomas. Still no luck. The pieces for the Solar System model seem to be
in the files supplied. :( I spent over 30 minutes on it, but I don't think
I have all the parts. At least I get a floor & a sunglow now.

I am really sorry because I think that the fault is mine!! It is because  in
Moray, you can switch on or off different elements for testing and I
probably did not switch everything on. And when off, they are not translated
to POV-Ray.
OK, I shall do it again and control the whole process. Stay tuned!

I shall! Is it possible to remove the full pathnames and just use relative
filenames? I don't have a directory called C:\Mijn documenten\Mijn
Work-In-Progress\Mijn Teksten\Kabeljauw Kronieken\Illustraties\

Oh yes! You can delete everything you want there (I am a freak when it comes
to archiving!)
What I shall do is this: I shall put in p.b.s-f  a scene file with only the
Kepler model. You can then include it into the main scene file (first
comment out the camera, lights etc). I think that would be easiest.
My scene has become so complex now (see Take 5) that it becomes difficult to
edit the POV-Ray files generated by Moray. They are not ment to be edited
this way, but only through Moray (which is much simpler)
