Hola,
This is part of a lab bench scene that I've been working on.
I'm rather pleased with the way it turned out so I thought I'd post it.

funny, just last night I was sitting on a stool in my kitchen watching my
tea kettle warm up. I was mostly watching the gas fire from the stove top.
The whole time it was warming, I was thinking of how to model it. Pov sure
makes you look at things differently.
Nice job on your gas pipes. The roundness of everything is very realistic.
It's begging to be placed in the entire chem lab scene. Post the final scene
when you have it :)

Hi Jim,
Pretty but...
It's clear you're not very familiar with issues of lab safety or equipment
design.
Gas Taps with wimpy stopcocks just don't cut it. Those unsupported fiddly
things would snap in a day and the lab would go up in smake!
Take a reality check and google gas-tap.
Levers are clearly on or off and often yellow.

ahhh .... thanks for the links .... the busen burner is next so that will be
helpful
i'm sticking with my design on the gas tap .... hey at least they are shown
in the off position.
i'll just make sure my insurance is up to date and hope we have no lab
accidents

haha .... i do that kind of stuff all the time too ... i get funny looks
when i say stuff like ....
bet i could do that with a very turbulant crackle pattern

GREAT link .... looking for older looking stuff .... found two more items
that I wanted to add to my scene
mortar & pestal .... cool looking blue (cobalt glass) bottle .... Thanks
