I've rendered a lot of springs and spheres over the years, but none that 
look as realistic as these.  You definitely have a handle on the whole 
light and textures thing!

thank you very much!
I don't think I have such a handle, I get very frustrated when I have to 
  set lights on scenes! that's why i'm experimenting with such simple scene.
