I knocked this together recently and thought I'd share it. I was
experimenting with Megapov's aoi texture and exposure settings.

The shape is CSG using spheres, toruses, cylinders, etc. via a few
macros I created to preserve C1 continuity.

Available in 1600x1200 if anyone wants some wallpaper :)

Cheers,
Tek

Nice!! Looks like an old bollard in a harbor that is all rusted up and green
from years of sea spray.

I've got MegaPov but what is the aoi texture?

Great image, a few barnacles would have made it even more realistic.

aoi = angle of incidence, the colour depends on the angle you view it
from. In this case it's a greeny/turquoise for points that face you, and
orange for things that are at an angle. I've combined this with a
granite normal to get the decaying effect.
