Hello. I'm working on a little fishbowl scene. How do these look as far as
fake plastic plants go? Any suggestions on procedural texturing for the
leaves, or does this look adequate? Leaves are blobs, stems are blobs. Do i
need more variation in placement? Just noticed that the top leaves might be
floating in space... i think it's from a slight random variation in
vertical placement.
thanks,

Very realistic. Looks exactly like some plants I recently saw at a
restaurant.

Looks like plastic to me. Odd to be saying that as a compliment ;) I
like the faux wood grain too.

Those fake plastic plants ARE fake. Texture should be realy plain, no shading at all.
They are
molded from molten plastic. Been machine made, the leaves placement is prety regular.
They are more
rigid than real plants, if they are to long for the water level, they just stick out
of the water.
in my view, those are good. Looks artificial as they should.
