... and the funny thing is that they were acquired by throwing out all the 
 >2002 code for legs and pasting in some code for the state of my blobbing 
circa 2002.  Everything I'd added since then had made the legs less 
credible-looking.  They might look a little bit girly, but they look a whole 
lot more human!  The bummer is that I'd just developed about a dozen 
different "characters," and they all have those incredulous legs.

Take each nth slice and find the minimum number of circle that cover the  
shape, this will give you a very good indication of the size, location and  
number of objects you need to generate a realistic human form.
