135 pixels per hour.
Elapsed time: 3 days 8 hours.

And I'm not even using any photons, radiosity, reflections, or refractions.

Just some media...and a few lights.

(good thing there's mosaic preview so I could actually set up the scene
and tweak it without spending too much time...)

Being rendered.  It's on line 12 atm...  o.o;;

It probably won't take the hundred-some-odd days to render I calculated
at its present rate, it's just on a complex mesh at the moment (and for
many moments to come...)

Hehe... :)

Same here - 3 simple isosurfaces - been rendering more than 7 months now
24/7 - also on a 1.8 P4... Also with media and two lights.

lol

...*cough* pretty much :P

I think there's a few things I'll want to tweak once I see the effect of
the full render; things that don't show up on quick mosaic previews or
with simpler materials/lighting...

Murphy's Law:
Tweaks required are proportional to render_time^a_big_number
