Help!

Okay ... Here is the scoop.

In this scene, I am trying to evoke the stark geometry of desert
architecture. Yeah, I know there is a bit too much haze in the air at
the moment, but the real problem is the lighting.

The interior of this building is being lit by a number of spotlights.
The light is, of course, exiting the building through the windows and
going out onto the desert floor. Unfortunately, the light does not fade
in intensity as the point of intersection between the light and the
object gets further away from the source.

Does anyone know of a way around this?

Thanks for your help.

Aaron

Problem solved ...

At least for now.

Used the "shadowless" keyword in the light_source definition.

I see you already solved it, but two other possibilities would have been:

 - Put the interior lights in a light_group with the building so that they
don't affect the outside ground
 - Use fade_power and fade_distance to force the light to fade in intensity
as you said

Arghghgh ...

Thanks, Slime.

I've only been using this program for eight or nine years, so you'd
think I would have discovered some of these things.
