I was playing around again with the 4 reflecting spheres fractal (see 
http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/fractals/wada/ for a description) 
and I put the 4 spheres inside the circumscribing sphere, also 
reflecting, added 3 spotlights, removed the 4 spheres (no_image 
no_shadow) and got this picture that I really like.  Don't know whether 
it may come off too dark with some displays.  I did adjust the gamma up 
a bit when I jpeg'd it, just in case.  I rendered a 1500x1200 version of 
it and it took almost 60 hrs on a 1.2 GHz P4 laptop (max_trace-level was 
96, which might be a bit of overkill.)  Other camera views with this 
setup are also interesting.  Let me know if you want the scene file.
